My First Blog!
So here we go yall, I'm posting my first blog! I'm so proud of myself I could just spit! Anywho, I will be using this blog as a soap box and form of stress relief (a friend of my suggested I put my thoughts, daily details and all around business on the web via Blogger just to blow off steam) So, I will hopefully be posting a daily blog and will also post pics and other fun stuff here as it happens and as I get it. Come back often to hear me go on with my bitchin self...lol!
So..Today is Sunday November 14, 2004 and as you can tell I'm bored already. I'm working on laundry, house cleaning and preparing myself mentally for going back to work this week. For those of you that don't know a thing about me: My real name is Jon and I live in Columbus, Ohio in the "Gay Ghetto aka-German Village" I live by myself with my two wild ass dogs (two labs: my oldest is Sydney, he is a full blooded yellow lab and is 5 years old and tips the scales at 115lbs/ my youngest is Monica, she is a lab-pointer mix and is 1 year old and soak-n-wet tips the scales at 40lbs if shes lucky, I have had her for around 4 months now, I got here from the pound on a weak day! She is alright...just buck ass wild...no manners...however she is very loving and cant stand it if you dont love on her all the times) For the past 16 years I have worked for McDonald's Corporation as a General Manager & Training Manager ...well that was until October 26, 2004 when I decided that I just wasnt happy anymore and needed a change ...so like a crazy man...I decided to resign and take a month off to look for another company within the same field that would be a better fit for me and who had good programs-benifits and room for advancement...so last week I accepted an offer from another restaurant chain that is a little different concept and Im going to start as a General Manager in training to fast track to a District Manager position within in 8-12 months. So we will see! On the relationship front: I just recently got out of a very bad year long relationship that end about 2 months ago....He was my perfect mate...he was everything I was looking for in a man and in a relationship....however ....that lasted for about the first 4 or 5 months...and then ....the abuse...both mental and physical as well as the advantage taking began. It took me longer than it should have to cut that shit off....but being in love is a bitch...and the manner in which you want to belive that you would handle a situation is a whole different story when the situation actually happens...in other words...you can sit back and go on about "Girl aint no man in the world worth all of that" and "Girl you need to kick his ass to the curb" or "Girl you need to get him in check!" all day long..but until its "You" in the situation you have no idea how you will handle it....Love is a strange thang!! But as I have said a million times...I made a deal with myself that I would not let this crap get me down....and make me jaded, bitter or evil (well accept for the normal evilness...lol) So now that you are up-to-date on me and my silly little life...you may know what Im talkin about on a daily basis...that is if you come back here to visit....I know all my girls will (at least they better or I will "Pop a Cap" on they asses!)
