Another Day in the Life
So here i sit again in front of this cute little poka-dot iMac...blahblanin..about my not so exciting life! Anyway...today is Wednesday and im still on my little mini-vacation from work...if you can call it that...I was off on sunday and monday and then had a meeting all day on tuesday (10-8...puke) and now im off today and thursday of course that means i have to work like a hebrew slave all weekend long...but thats ok i guess....so today other than the normal house work, cruzin the net, watchin soaps, trip to cup-o-joe and a visit to video central for a few movies...i will more than likely not do much else with my day..other than entertain the kids (my dogs) they seem to not be able to entertain on their own these days...labs always require your undivided attention 24/7 which can get on your last gay nerve when everytime your turn or stop they are right up your ass!....but i love my little bitches and wouldnt trade them for all of the cats in the world! (by the way ... i can not stand cats...)
So yesterday sucked being in a 10hour class/meeting....god what a long day ... i have to do this for a total of 8 weeks...thank god i only have 4 more weeks to go of all that....I talked to by girl Robert last night on the way home from work and then spent the night IMing her ass on my newest toy...I just recently changed my cell phone service...droping Verizons highly overpriced and overrated service..and im now with T-Mobile...which is so much cheaper and even with them not being as big as verizon and their coverage on a national level is a little less...(locally and in ohio they seem to have great coverage...except of course where my parents live in the "No Cell Service unless you have Sprint" land of Chillicothe...which i dont go to very often anyway) So i went to TMobile and ended up getting 200 more minutes per month and still have free:long distance,roaming,nights,weekends and im saving almost $30 per month...plus i got 300 text and unlimited tzones(mobile web,tones,wallpaper,etc...) for a hell of a lot cheaper than on verizon...so i ended up getting a Nokia 6800 phone (i havent had a nokia for several years and had forgotten how great the battery life and reception are...thank god) it is a really cool phone...has everthing include a flip open lid with Qwerty keyboard...which is outstanding for IMing and using the mobile web...at least you dont have to fight with the dumb as "Predictive Text Enter Shit" it takes a little while to get use to the keyboard...using your thumbs...but once i got it down...i zoom on it. the only thing missing from this phone is ...camera and bluetooth...which i really dont need anyway...My last phone was the Motorola v710 the big deal phone verizon recently came out with that was way over priced (even with a deal was over 300$...i could still kill myself for that stupid moment of bad judgement) had a camera (which suck and took awful pictures anyway) it had the bluetooth tech...which the only thing that was good for after verizon got done striping the fuck out of the bluetooth so that you would have to use their "Get it Now and pay way to fuckin much" program was the moto bluetooth headset..which was great....so needless to say ... I HAVE A MOTOROLA V710 phone for sell if anyone who has Verizon is looking for a new phone!! I couldnt take it to TMobile because they are a little more advanced in that they actually use a GSM network like Att/Cingular where as Verizon and Sprint use the old CDMA (which i guess isnt that old but is out date compared to GSM...) so I had to get a new phone running on GSM....so i would have gotten a TMobile Sidekick....but considering the fact that i really didnt want to spend alot of money with them until i figured out if i was going to like their service...so i went a step down and went for the Nokia 6800 which im glad i did...its a great phone...just missing the camera and bluetooth...and the great thing is i got the retail store up on Sawmill Rd to give me the same deals that you can get online...so phone i ended up paying $50 for on the spot and will send in a tmobile web only rebate form and get my 50 back making a $250 phone free after all the rebates....great ...and you only have to sign a one year contract and can upgrade your phone with current discounts and rebates every 11 months....which is a hell of alot better than Verizons pain in the ass New every 2 yrs...i know i sound like a geek and a TMobile sales person...but its great....and i am a tech geek...shhhh dont tell anyone.....
well....i suppose i better get off my ass and do something....
