My Last Winter in Ohio!
I swear..this will be my last winter in Ohio! I can not stand this weather any longer, driving in it, walking in it....just being around it sucks!
So i had to work from 5pm-3am last night and it took me from 3:45pm-5:20pm to get from German Village to Sawmill Rd & 161 (normal even high traffic time of 20-25mins) ....it was not good. Then coming home at 3am it took me one hour to clean off, defrost & de-ice my car. I left Sawmill at around 3:50am and it took until around 4:15am to get from 161&Sawmill to Bethel Rd .... then i finally got on RT315 which was a nightmare....had not been a plow down the freeway at all and from Bethel Rd to Dowtown I seen 2 other cars besides me...it was just scary! ICe, Water, Snow...slush....erghhhhhhh....What cracks me up is that when i finally got down 315 almost to downtown (around The Lennox) the plow trucks where doing a gang style clean up of the "NORTHBOUND LANES" now tell me why they would start with the Northbound side when it was 430-5am in the morning and rush hour traffic would normally start around then and the bulk of the traffic would be coming from the North (Dublin area etc...) going "SOUTHBOUND" into Downtown !!! Dumb ass shit!!
Then when i got off at Livingston/4thst Exit all of 4th and Livingston was flooded with water...running fast...not good...finally pulled into my house in German Village at around 5:20am....walked in the door and turned on the TV and found out that Franklin County and most surronding counties had already been but in a Level 3...which for those of you not from here means....your ass had better be a cop, ambulance or fire truck to be on the roads...or you could be fined and or arrested. So...what a pain in the ass..Im suppose to work 5p-3am again tonight and Im not going ... Im calling in! No way will i drive in this shit again tonight! So instead i will sit my butt in front of this Computer and walk to the Happy Dragon for some good ole Chinnese Dinner! .....No Driving for me today...i had enough last night.
Oh...and did i mention....the heater in my car is not working correctly...and so i call BOBB Chevrolet today to try to get it in today or first thing in the morning...and when i got a hold of service the guy said oh...we only had 3 people show up today..so we sent them home and we are closing the shop until Monday...Great CANT GET SHIT DONE UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS !!!!
